Hi @alphabiz,

what meta tags would you like to add? You can fill most of them in the Shopify UI and don't have to edit any code.

Send me a link to your store to [email protected] and I'll help you out.

Meta title and description of every page, not product pages, need to add on service pages, about, home pages, but here my preferences is not enabled in the setting option, so which is the option where i can edit every page to add the meta title and description.

There is an app called Matrixify where you can bulk export your pages (including Meta title & description ) and edit on an excel doc, then re-upload.

is that what you require?

You sure can bulk import and export Metafields for your Pages (the ones that you see in Admin -> Online Store -> Pages section).

Here we have a great tutorial on how to bulk manage Metafields. The tutorial is for Products but works the same for Pages.

I hope that this is what you are looking for. If you need any assistance, please reach out to our support directly.

Hi @alphabiz,

why isn't the preferences section enabled on your store? You are a staff member and don't have access to it? Or what's the reason?

Plus, for your pages, you can easily fill in the title and meta description when you click the specific page and scroll down to the bottom. There is the SEO section.

Maybe you could provide some screenshots why isn't possible to fill in the homepage title and meta description in the preferences?

You can definitely add the meta tags in the theme.liquid file but if it's possible in the Shopify UI then I think it doesn't make sense to add additional code.

@alphabiz

You just have to create a snippet file with liquid meta tags and render that file in theme.liquid file.
