How do I make the image sizes a custom aspect ratio?

Hi! I would like to make give the product images on my product grid a 5:4 aspect ratio without adapting the size of the images themselves (they are uploaded square). I would also like to change the ratio on the default product page so that it is also 5:4 rather than a square. Is this possible? Thank you!

For example I would like to make this product listings image have a ratio of 5:4 rather than a square without cropping the image (it looks better as a square on the customer accounts page). Please can you help with the code for both the product page and the product collection pages? Thanks!

No sorry I would like to make all the images have a 5:4 ratio. For example this one is currently a square but I would like it to appear as 5:4 😊 Thanks!

Ok, but i checked the size also in 5:4 of image but i think you want to cover both white space sides left and right.

Oh.....ok got it. but You can do it by the custom code so is you have some knowledge of shopify liquid coding then you can make a option for it. And if you not have knowledge about the custom code then you need to hire a developer for do it this thing.
