How do I remove the white space below slideshow banner on Studio theme?

I know it's because the container is larger than the image. The image is set to grid and adapted to the first image of course. It is the only image in the slideshow. When I check off "Show content below images on mobile" it removes the blank space but the image then becomes too compressed and cuts off. I'm assuming there is some code to solve this. Thanks!
