How do I send email with attachment after a customer has placed an order?

Hi,

We are using shopify to sell workshops so not a physical product.  After a customer has placed an order for a workshop, we would like to be able to automatically generate an email that gives them some pre-workshop information and a health declaration to fill in.  Can anyone advise how I do this, I've customised the order placed notification so that it states a further email will follow but now I'm stuck.

If you're on Shopify Plus, you can use Shopify Flow to automate the email based on an order being placed for a specific product 

If you’re not on Shopify Plus, you can set up automated emails via customer tagging and third-party email services

If you want a more straightforward solution:

• You can send a manual follow-up email using Shopify Email.
• Create an email template under Marketing > Shopify Email that contains your pre-workshop information and health declaration.
• Send it manually after each workshop order, using the Shopify customer email list filtered by orders.

Thanks for this, I have installed shopify flow and have created a trigger when an order has been paid.  I then want to add the condition to send an email if the order is for a particular product. (this will enable me to send different emails for different products).  Firstly I'm not 100% sure if I have set this up correctly.  Then when I move to the action which is to send the email, it seems to only let me send a marketing email if the customer has signed up to marketing.  This could cause problems if they haven't. 

This is all new to me, I'm sure once it's set up it's quite easy to use but I'm struggling.  Thanks
