How long does it usually take to make my first sale? I've been getting sessions (around 100 per day)

This is my website so any help would be appreciated

👋🏼Hi there, I don't see anything "wrong" with your store. I was able to add a product to the Cart and get to Checkout. If anything I would say you've made an interesting choice of colors for your store, but then again that is just preference. It was harsh when I went from the Cart to the Checkout, because the colors are totally opposite, so that transition kind of hurt my eyes to be honest. As long as you are getting the right kind of traffic I think some of your products must be on demand so a sale should happen soon.

My recommendations:

  • Switch the color pallette of your store
  • Include some elements of danger in images (make the user feel the need for your products, since they are personal safety products)
  • Offer an incentive to make that first purchase (usually a 10% or 15% on the first purchase can push the visitors to place their first order, do it in exchange for their email so you can market to them later even if they don't make a purchase)
  • Add some trust seals and a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee (we all like to feel like there is no way I am going to get stuck with a bad product).

Best of luck! Be patient and trust your products, your price and your system.

Hey there @theaknights  I have a few suggestions on how your store could be improved.
1) On your homepage, try and include a short welcome message or image before diving straight into the best sellers category. It allows customers to settle in nicely first

2) Especially with the unique nature of products you’re dealing with, you should definitely have a section for FAQs. They’d help give some basic clarity to customers at first glance

3) The reviews on the homepage should be improved in how they are arranged (a slider method is much better) and try to include some images and maybe job descriptions so the reviews appear to come from actual people and wasn’t just fixed there.

Hello @theaknights,

Your store looks really nice! Considering you have 100 sessions per day is actually a good signal for a new store. For your question, I would say your first sale can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on factors like product-market fit, traffic quality, and how much trust your store builds with visitors.

I see that you haven't had any reviews on your store. I would recommend you import quality reviews from Temu or Amazon to build buyer confidence. Adding it could be a small but powerful way to increase sales. There are tools available that can help you import and display these reviews like Kudosi. Hope this helps!
