How to add 1000+ words write-ups on Shopify Collection Pages

Hi Team,

I have 2 Questions for you as follows

I am willing to add 1000+ words of content on the Shopify collection pages. Can I show only 2 to 3 lines across the top followed by the Read more button?

Also, can I add a section across the bottom of the page and add 1000+ words of content? 

TIA, need to know the steps by step guide for the above questions.
