How to add a different hero image on mobile in Debut theme

Hi, I uploaded a banner image with text already on the image, however when opening the website on mobile the text is cut off. At first I thought this was because the hero image is not responsive, however I think it may be because I added the text to the image outside of Shopify (as I don't like the placement or font of the text available in Shopify).

As such, please can someone advise how I add a custom hero image for the mobile version of the site? I'm using debut theme.

This video looks very helpful. However, I'm trying to do the same thing on the Dawn Theme on the Email signup banner. I tried what you did but it didn't work. Could you show how to make this work for the Email signup banner section in the Dawn Theme? Thanks!
