How To Add A Text Block in Shopify Footer (Refresh Theme)

I am using the wonderful Refresh theme and I am trying to figure out how to add a text string in the footer, that aligns on the same line as the social media icons (so that the footer isn't too high). See screenshot below. **Edited by Community Moderator** I followed instructions in this thread and inserted the code below in the footer.liquid as the instructed lines. That works fine I but couldn't figure out how to make them on the same line.

Thank you in advance for your help!!

{%- assign socials = "Facebook Twitter Pinterest Instagram Tumblr Snapchat YouTube Vimeo" | split: ' ' -%}
<center><p> Add your desired text </p>
  <div class="page-width">

We could try to edit code to put your content the footer-section in theme file like this screenshot below:

Then, we can add a small Css code to align these content.

Please try it and let us know how it goes.

Glad to hear that @Snow_Wolf . I am very happy, too. Regarding your question, we can put the custom '<li>' tag before the social media icons like this:

Hope this helps 😉

@Snow_Wolf - you can see that your text is outside top content, hence it is coming down

if you add it before ul tag in newsletter code, then you can see it like this

Thanks @suyash1 the only thing is that I would like both (the text and social media icons) to be centered rather than opposite sides.

Very helpful, thanks to both of you! @GemPages I used your solution and it worked like a charm. Any way to have the social media icons display after my text rather than before?

@Jacqui Hello could a moderator help me delete mention to my client's website? See my original/first post on this thread where I accidentally posted the full store URL and password and the customer would like to have I removed.
