How to add Fabric Details

I am currently using the Focal theme for my Shopify store, and I need assistance with enhancing my product pages. Specifically, I want to add detailed fabric information and other product details that customers can view before they add items to their cart.

Could you please guide me on how to:

1. Include fabric details: Where and how can I add these details in the product description or as a separate section on the product page?
2. Ensure visibility: How can I make sure this information is clearly visible to customers and not overlooked?
3. Customizing the layout: Are there any customization options within the Focal theme that allow me to design these sections attractively?

Any detailed instructions or resources you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dharmil,

You would want to make a custom metafield for your products. You can find this under Settings -> Custom Data -> Products. Create a metafield here that meets your requirements.
You will then see the field available under each of your product files.

Then you would need to go into your Online Store, customize your theme's product template to dynamically use the metafield where you want to display your fabric details.
