How to add multiple variants for one art piece without 3rd party apps?

I am selling landscape art and want to offer different media (print, gallery-wrapped canvas, metal) in a variety of sizes.  I want to have all of these options for one particular art piece. Is there a way to do this without 3rd party apps?

Hi @gloch,

By default, Shopify doesn't offer the flexibility to set up your product options exactly like your reference image. If you prefer not to use an app, you might want to consider altering how you present your product options.

For instance, you could create an option called "Print Type" with 3e variants: Gallery Print, Canvas Wrap, and Metal. Then, you can create another option for "Size". Shopify will automatically generate corresponding sizes for each print type. If needed, you can remove unavailable sizes for specific print types.

Would you like to show the live preview of the option chosen ? 

You can create a product with three options 1. Gallery Print 2. Canvas Wrap 3. Metal.
Assign respective images to the variant and use them.

Is there a way to associate sizes with each of the three options?

Shopify only allows to setup 3 variant options so you can either set any 3 options from them. Else you have to go with 3rd party or 

as you want this only for one product the whole functionality can be hardcoded.

I was wondering if you had any success. I have not found a way to have inventory of one, but show it different ways, in my case framed or print only.
