How to add product description to featured Product

Howdy! I would like to have the product description for the featured product section but can not seem to figure it out, I have tried to add custom liquid. I DO NOT want to have to go in the Shopify theme Editior and change the product description every time because the description is changing weekly and I would like my employees to be able to change it without having to edit the site, just the product. Below I have an example picture of that I have tried.

I think you create the wrong custom liquid field.

add one more field for product description on theme customization. custom liquid field is not proper worked on theme customization.
