Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi everyone,
I'm designing a store and I can't find where to add a 'Order Notes' section on the View Cart or Checkout pages. The instructions in the help centre don't seem to apply to the Minimal theme. Hopefully someone is able to help me?
Shop URL is https://www.auromalabs.com/ and the password is pruvus
Something like this but not specifically for delivery instructions. I want just a regular box for customers to type requests.

You can enable cart notes from your theme editor by visiting Online store > Themes > Customize and selecting Cart from the drop-down menu. In the left-hand editing panel you should see the option to select Cart page, then check Enable order notes. Let me know if you're seeing that option on your end!
Within your theme editor, you can add an item to your cart then see the option to add "Special instructions for seller" appear.
You're welcome to keep this default text as it is, or visit your language editor to customize it. If you're curious about this option, you can head back to your admin, then visit Online store > Themes > Actions > Edit languages, select your Cart section, and edit this field:
Entirely up to you! Please don't hesitate to let me know if you run into any questions along the way.

Thanks. It was GREAT to include screenshots as the layout changed since the other reference I found to the issue from 2019.
I use Symmetry theme and I don't see the enable cart note option. Any other way to enable a note in check out? Thanks!
