How to Add Social Media Icons with Messenger Link in Footer and Contact Page?

Hi everyone,

I’ve seen social media icons like the ones in the image below, and I would like to add them to my Shopify store’s footer. I want the Facebook icon to have a link that directly opens a Messenger chat with my business page.

Is there a simple way to achieve this in Shopify’s footer, or do I need to edit the theme code?

Additionally, is it possible to add these social media icons (including the Messenger link) to my Contact Us page?

Go to the Online Store > Theme > Customization > Footer Section > Social Icons
