How to add the Shopify Search & Discovery to my own theme

Thank you. but i went through those pages, as far as i see it shows me how to add the data in the admin section.

my question is how do i add the filter usage to a theme that doesnt have support for it. I woudl like to add custom code to my theme to display the filters.
