How to change font color for Filter and Sort on mobile?

I have tried several coding changes that I have found on questions here, but none have worked.  I'm using the Craft theme. My background is black, and on mobile, the filter and sort color is also black on any collections page, so it's barely visible.  It displays on desktop fine. 

The top photo is on mobile, the bottom on desktop.

Go to online store ----> themes ----> go to three Dots ----> edit code ---->find theme.liquid files ----> place the code ---->
under the <style> tag before the body ----->
