How to change menu color on Header HOMEPAGE ONLY - Dawn theme 2.0

I used this code to change it, However this applies on all pages and I only want it on the home page, I Will link 2 pics to get a better understanding

Also, need help with color when its "clicked" as you can see in the image it turns black, I just want a stronger white or even gray, Thanks in advance.
