How to change sizing table chart width ONLY on desktop

The desktop product sizing chart DEFAULT is not full width on my desktop view, the width is too narrow. 

On desktop, my products charts/tables are all different sizes for each product, it looks stupid. 

On Mobile, the charts are fine..... if I use ANY of the codes available on this website, then the desktop width looks great but then the mobile width gets way too big. 

I need both mobile and desktop chart/table width to be 100% without having to scroll on mobile, I just want the user to be able to look at the entire chart on the page. This is not complicated.

Every code I have found on this site regarding this same problem... conflicts with each other. 
I can get the desktop chart width to be correct but then the mobile is too big
And the opposite, I can get the mobile chart width correct, but then the desktop is like its default, too small. 

I am pulling my hair out. Please help me.
