How to change the colour of the Top/Bottom Padding?

My page theme is dark blue. When I increase the top or bottom padding of certain sections, the increased padding I have just added always appears as white. Is there a way of changing it? In this situation I am just trying to increase the gap between my Logo in Header and my Background Video. Is there any other way of making that gap bigger between the Logo and the bottom of the Header line?

Hey @LSAccounting

Follow these Steps:

1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file

4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag

<style>
header.header.header--middle-left.header--mobile-center.page-width.header--has-menu {
    padding-bottom: 30px;
}
</style>

Hi, I have the same issue. Could you please include a screenshot of where exactly you paste that code? Because I tried pasting it above the last '/body' but it didn't work. There are other /body mentions in all of the theme code, so I am confused where exactly do I have to paste it. Thank you in advance
