Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Please look at this page here:
https://atsportsandnetting.com/
I have a picture on the top left called "Shop baseball".
Click on that.
Notice I was in the process of making a collections list specifically for the category "Sports".
For some reason, this collection lists appears on EVERY single category and subcategory in the same exact way as seen in this sample page:
https://atsportsandnetting.com/collections/soccer-goal-and-net-accessories
I am trying to create the ability to make a custom Collection List for EVERY category page. Some category pages won't even have a collection list. Only 5 pages will have one and each one has to be unique.
I talked to customer service and they said I have to install custom code for this and referred me to this board. Can someone give me this code and tell me where to put it to make this happen?
Thank you

Hi @ATSports ,
From what you've described, it seems you want to show different collections for different categories/subcategories. This can be accomplished by creating separate collection templates and assigning them to the respective categories. The issue you're encountering is likely because they are all using the same collection template.
For example, I have two categories: one called "test" and another called "fundpop." Here are my screenshots:
And this is how it's set up:
1. Go to the theme editor, and in collections, click "Create templates."
2. Edit the templates to add the collections you wish to display in each specific template.
3. Go to collections, select the collection (baseball, in your case) you want to use this template for, change the template of that collection, and click save.
If you find this helpful, please give it a like and accept it as a solution. Thanks!
Hey @ATSports
can you let me know exactly what type of design you want for your collection list?
