Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I need help, I'm super confused about something.
So, I'm trying to make a drop-down menu that shows different options for pages you can visit using the drop-down menu.
I am trying to make it so that when you click either "Jack" or "Stormy" or whatever else I add, it takes you to an ENTIRELY NEW page that only gives you information on that one thing. But instead, it takes "Jack" or "Stormy" and puts it on the very top of the "Meet Our Pets" page, displaying "Jack" or "Stormy" at the top, with the entire rest of the "Meet Our Pets" page underneath.
Below are examples of what I am talking about

This is how I have it setup in my shopify admin
I dont understand why when you click on "Jack" or "Stormy" it doesn't take you to an entirely new page with new content. Why does it just put "Jack" or "Stormy" on the very top? In short, I am trying to make it so that when you click "Jack" or "Stormy" that will take you to brand new pages with just their content. However, it takes you to the same page, with the same content, and just puts "Jack" and "Stormy" on the top of it. Any help will be MUCH appreciated.

You must create a new page template for each page so when adding section, they will not appear the same on all page. Please check this to learn more about page template

Hello, are you referring to this?
I understand what this is telling me to do, but there is no option available for me to "+ Create Template".
I am able to make new page sections, but that's about all I'm able to do, and it still appears on the same page. I understand on the top it says "For Online Store 2.0 Only", but I don't know if the theme I am using is using Online store 2.0. I'm using the dawn theme.
