How to display search bar permanently

Hi there!

How can I display and open search bar instead of just a symbol permanently? I want it just for desktop version.

I am using Dawn theme and this is my website: www.taneraskin.com

Welcome to Shopify Community.

I did understand that you want to show the search bar permanently on the header and not by clicking on the search icon. 

This is possible but needs some sort of code altering including JS, liquid and CSS. Thus if you are not good with codes than you can break your theme. I would recommend to seek help of a developer at a very reasonable cost.
