How to Edit the Collections Sort Tag Labels?

Is there a way to edit the collections sort tag labels?

eg. 'Date, new to old' update to 'Latest'

eg. 'Alphabetically, A-Z' update to 'A-Z'

With the basic Shopify Theme, there's only a price filter for your collection page.

Currently, most premium Shopify themes like Kalles, Gecko, Unsens, etc. developed an advanced filter function that allows you and end users to sort their items in alphabets, price increase, and publishing date. No added cost. No code required.

Or you can find and use the EComposer Sorting element for free.

Unfortunately, all of labels' names are fixed, and you cannot change them
