How to effectively implement customization options for a luxury jewelry product?

Hi everyone,

We are a luxury jewelry brand and we produced a personalized bracelet that people can personalize their/loved ones's name etc. However, I don't know how can we do that in a proper way in terms of good UI/UX. I know there are plenty of 3rd party apps out there but not sure which one is the best for us since we are a luxury brand.

In addition to that, most important thing is there will be some options like: letter with variants white diamond / plain gold etc. Since white diamond is the most expensive stone when they choose it and add extra letter (length of the name etc) the price will increase for sure. We need to create such scenerious as the price will be changed accordingly.

So, how can I handle this issue? It will be applied only for one bracelet and maybe for the ring as well.

Yes, the scenario is possible. If you don't want to use any app. Then the engraving is possible by custom code. So here what can be done.

For engraving, letters, fonts, color option can be given and they will be added as product properties. For expensive stone to add additional charges, a fixed price product will be added with it so the customers can pay for it also. And their total charges will be Product price + white diamond price.

the better way to handle your product customization need, is to keep price to your own shopify variants.

In this way, you can variants with different price(such as white diamond is the most expensive)

base on these variants, you could show some custom input to let customers fill their/loved ones's name.

It looks really good and this is the app what we are looking for! However, is it possible to add letters mixed? Let's say the name Enes and E and N letters will be plain gold and E and S letters will be white diamond. Your app will be calculated such scenerios? Plus, is it possible to set up a quick meeting?

Absolutely, customers have the flexibility to combine letters of white diamond with plain gold.

Here's the updated demo for your store 😊:

And here are step by step to set up:

• Create your Letter Name Bracelet product.
• Create 2 additional separate products: White Diamond Letters and Plain Gold Letters. These products represent the price per letter for each type. You can easily hide them from the storefront using the seo.hidden metafield.
• Install the app and create a new option set.

• Add the first option for choosing Letter Styles (White Diamond or Plain Gold) using the Image Swatches option type. Enable the Multiple selection feature so customers can select either White Diamond, Plain Gold, or both.

• Add the second option for entering letters if customers select "Plain Gold" in Letter Style, using the Text Box option type. Set the price per letter by selecting the "Plain Gold Letters" as an add-on product. Enable Conditional logic so this text box will only show if customers select "Plain Gold" in Letter Style.

• Similarly, add the third option for entering letters if customers select "White Diamond" in Letter Style.

• Finally, add the option set to the Letter Name Bracelet product, and you're all set!

Thank you for your detailed explanation! I have only one question left. Let's say I wanna write 2 names - Enes Emir and I want to start Plain Gold then N, M and R letters will be White Diamond. How do the customers understand and split the logic? Because I've tried the demo and there shouldn't be gap price first and then we and your system need to understand the whole name and the order will be mixed like I said. Plain Gold then following White Diamond and again White Diamond and Plain Gold.. Totally up to the customers. Hope you understand what I mean. Please let me know if it's doable then we will purchase your app accordingly.

I've implemented several updates to the Demo to address your requirements more effectively 😊:

1. The prices are calculated based on the number of letters entered, excluding spaces. This ensures that customers are charged correctly for their orders.

2. To enhance visibility and ease of selection, I've replaced the Image Swatches with Checkboxes for selecting "Letter Styles".

3. In cases where customers want to mix plain gold and white diamond letters, it will show a Text Box (single-line text field) for customers to enter their entire name, facilitating better order comprehension. Additionally, I've included a Text Area (multi-line text field) for customers to specify any additional requirements, such as distinguishing between similar letters in different materials.

4. I also revised the help texts to provide clearer instructions for customers.

Thanks for the demo. It's coming along for sure! We will use your app for our both websites. Do you have a promotion or something for more than 1 Shopify store? Or we need to purchase for our both stores. Going forward we would like to apply this feature to our customized ring as well. For now for our bracelet will be live thanks to your app! However, can we customize it going forward according to our future wishes? We can change Your Name as Inscription and we need to add and adjust accordingly the characters limit like "Inscription (up to 20 characters):" Maybe last thing could be (this will take into consideration, just telling now assumingly) near the letters (you can see our product in the link below) as you can see there are some square plain gold not the letter what I'm talking. We can add it as an option in the future as well. Could you please tweak the demo accordingly? And please let me know about the 2 accounts purchasing. We will purchase your app accordingly.
