Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi everyone,
We’re using the Broadcast theme and we’re looking to change how the Quick Add feature works.
Right now, there’s a “Quick Add” button on each product card (on collection pages). When a product has size variants, clicking that button redirects to a popup product page.
What we want instead is this:
Show the size options (like S / M / L) directly on the product, without needing to click anything first. So instead of a “Quick Add” button, the variant options should be visible right away, and users can just click on their size to add to cart.
Has anyone implemented this kind of change in Broadcast or another Shopify theme?
How complex is this to build?
Any guidance or examples would be really helpful!
Thanks a lot,
Henosin

Hi @henosin,
Thanks for sharing the detailed requirement!
Yes, what you're looking for—displaying variant (size) options directly on the product card instead of using the "Quick Add" popup—is definitely achievable in the Broadcast theme. However, it does require some structural changes to how the product cards are currently built.
We'll need to modify the product grid code to:
Render the variant options (like S / M / L) directly beneath each product.
Enable users to select a size and add the product to cart without a popup.
Ensure proper error handling and cart behavior, especially for out-of-stock or unavailable variants.
This is a slightly more involved customization due to the dynamic nature of variants, but I estimate it will take around 4 to 5 hours to implement and test thoroughly.
Let me know if you'd like us to proceed, and I’ll get started!
Best regards,
Darshan
