How to fix header search issue in new theme version?

Hi,

since today (roll-out new search within shopify winter edition) and rolling out to a new version of the used theme (pusblisher 13.0.0) we do face an issue in the header search.

as you can see in the screenshot no auto suggestions, no results are shown in the header search. But in the search page bar all works well.

Did someone see the same issues or has any idea?
