Is there a way to have users customize the theme simultaneously for various pages? It seems concurrent updates to different pages of the theme invokes the "content override" dialog box.
For example,
Is there anyway around this? We have a lot of content that needs to be entered. It would slow our progress if only one person can make these updates.
Same question here. Not being able to collaborate on editing the theme simultaneously is a complete bottleneck.
Same here, we were working together on the website and one's changes got overwritten... super annoying.
Same here, when is this option going to be available?
Same here! It's a super basic feature, even Wordpress has that.
I concur, since landing pages need to be created / edited in the theme editor (which, again, is mind baffling), there is the need for multiple people to work on the same theme at once. I have never seen a CMS or shop system that had difficulties with this, at worst there is a block of having only one user per page. That I'd be able to overwrite the content of someone working on an entirely different page makes no sense at all.
And then there's not even any information on who is the other person working... otherwise it would be possible to talk and work out a solution.
To be frank, this is insane. I understand that Shopify was meant for one man shops in the beginning, but it has grown far beyond that.
