How to link product variants so that if one variant is sold out, all variants are "sold out".

Hello,

I'm trying to set up my one-of-a-kind products so that when one product variant is sold out, it automatically makes all variants of that product sold out as well.

I have one-of-a-kind products that can include an accessory if selected. I use variants for this:

variant 1) product w/o accessory.

variant 2) product with accessory.

The problem is that when I sell either variant, the unique product is sold out and I can't sell the other variant. So, I need all variant to show "sold out" when any variant is sold out.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's not possible to do that automatically, with the built-in settings. Your only option would be to manually adjust the inventory for the other variants, once the first one is sold out ... or else use an app from the Shopify app store to achieve this functionality.
