How to list all products using the "Default Product" Template

Hey All!

Do you know a way to search/list products with a specific "Product Template" assigned to them? (e.g. "Default Product")

I want each of my products to use one of my custom templates and struggling to find the ones I still need to update. I could click them one at the time, scroll down to Online Store / Theme template, and assign a custom product template if it's still listing "Default Product", but that seems like a long and tedious task for shops with hundreds of products.

I tried to use the product export/import function, but the CSV file does not seem to have a "Product Template" section.

Any ideas on how to list the products with Default Product template, and bonus points if you have a trick to bulk-assign a template 🙂

Having this same issue. Seems like an oversight to me. Makes me miss Magento a tiny bit but not that much. Magento can do stuff like this in its sleep. Easy to take for granted when you switch to the "easy button" (Shopify) that doesn't offer granular filtering or true attribute systems.
If anyone has an idea on how to do this let me know. Downloading the entire catalog is not a good workaround.

Hey, I think Ablestar will do this. It has a lot of other features that look helpful as well. I'm trying it now, I'll report back after I've successfully filtered and updated product templates. It appears in the demo that you'll have way more access to the Shopify data with ways to bulk update really easily. It appears 5 edits a month are free and Shopify support has recommended this app heartily in the past.
