How to make a new home page while saving the current home page

Hello everyone.

I have made a home page and now I have realized I actually want this page to be a product intro page for one of my products.

So what I want to do is save my page I have made. And rename it as let's say product 1 page (no longer home).

Then once I have copied it to a new page, I can redesign my home page.

Any tips on how I can copy the page to a new page. Then I can redesign my home page like I want.

Thank you!

Hey there,

Unfortunately the way Amelia mentioned would not work being that you are trying to duplicate the home page.

I went ahead and did a short write up on my site around how to backup / migrate your home page if you'd like to see here: https://innovonics.com/how-to-back-up-your-homepage-template-in-shopify/

Hello @Greggy55

This is Amelia at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

To duplicate a page you need to take the following steps:

Step 1: Online Store -> Pages

Step 2: Select the page you want to duplicate

Step 3: At the top, see Duplicate, and click it

Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.

It is not appearing in any of my existing templates.

I added a new template : here :

I copied the text from the index.json and put it in the codeblock above.
