How to make accordion open and close smoothly on the product page?

I am using Trade 15.0.0 and the product page accordion currently opens and collapses abruptly, like a snap. I want the transition to be smooth. Is there a code I can achieve it with?

The current theme accordion does not support this, so you need to customize it.
