How to make add to cart button say remove once an item is added

Hello, I would like to make the add to cart button say “remove” once an item is added to the cart, as well as make the size selector button say “in cart”.

If possible, I would also like for there to be an “x” symbol next to remove and a check mark symbol next to in cart.

Would appreciate any help, using the spotlight theme btw

Yes, it is possible to do, all it requires is custom code of CSS, javascript, and liquid on your product and cart page.

Are you talking about the product page? Is your product need only to be purchase once? If you try to change the "add to cart" button to remove, then you dont allow customer to purchase the items more than one. There is no straight forward code for this. You will need a developer to edit the code for you. Contact us if you want a quote
