How to make an announcement bar sticky on the home page only?

Hi guys, what code would I need to get my announcement bar to be sticky on ONLY the home page please?

my website is: doorstepdrip.com

Hi @doorstepdrip ,

You can try this code by following these steps: 

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code.

Step 2: Search file theme.liquid

Step 3: Paste the below code at the bottom of the file -> Save

    top: 0;
    z-index: 9999;
}

{% endif %}

That did not work at all.. did I do something wrong? How so I make it sticket permanent. for this site: https://mayli-jewels.com/
I assume the announcement bar is the orange barn I have on top correct?
