How to remove the PayPal Express Checkout button?

hello, Does anyone know how to remove this button?

It seems that the code trick that worked before on the cart page, does not work anymore, I have a lot of customers asking me why I only offer Paypal as a payment option now, because suddenly the Express checkout Paypal is shown again on step 1 of the checkout.

Does anyone know what is going on?

You can remove the PayPal Express Checkout button using the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app. Here's how you can do it:

1. Open the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app.
2. Navigate to the "PayPal Express Checkout" section.
3. Enable the toggle to hide the PayPal Express Checkout button.

This will remove the PayPal button from your checkout page.
