Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I purchased a new theme and want to use it exactly how it was in the demo. Any way to do this?
I published the theme and it is using my old themes settings

Hi @pascoe,
If you've purchased a theme from the Shopify Theme Store and want to use a fresh version, you can return to the theme's page on the Theme Store and install a new version (when logged in). The Theme Store can recognize that you've purchased a theme when you're logged in and will allow you to install a clean copy.
You can also head to Theme settings > Theme style while in the theme editor, and you will see an option to change your theme's style:
Changing the theme's style will reset many of the customisations you've made within the theme. I would recommend installing a fresh copy of the theme instead, however, so you can receive an out-of-the-box version of the theme with no changes made to it.

Thank you Victor
Victor. Can you please tell me how to copy a theme from United Kingdom to Default, International and European Union please? I stupidly changed it to United Kingdom, updated images and code and now my updated theme only applies to UK when I need it to be Universal. Many thanks 🙂
Hi @Drekkly,
Thank you for reaching out. To confirm, is this in relation to the markets you have set up? Do you have UK, EU, and International markets set up with a theme designated for each one?

Actually dude. That's OK. Sorted now. I just updated default.
I have another problem now if you can help?
I'm having an issue where the sides are being cut off from the image banner.
I have set code so that the mobile version is linked to second image but the issue I'm having is that on a widescreen monitor, my image is fine:
BUT... When I load the page on my laptop, I get this:
I have tried to find a fix or solution and everyone keeps talking about the mobile version which is irrelevant. I need to know how to make the banner change size dependent on window or monitor automatically instead of just cutting off the edges. Please note I have changed the banner size and image multiple times and always get the same issue even when I reduce the width of the image.
Please help, no code i Have used so far has worked.
Thanks in advance.

Update. I have figured that it's the images on the home page that are not updating whatsoever. This is incredibly frustrating. Please help. Everything else updates but the images arent.
What if I have bought a theme from a third party? How can we upload the default theme?
