Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello,
My store is kytamericas.com
Ultimately I want my product page to display one thumbnail of each variant of my product, then once clicked on, the images for that variant are displayed. This would mean you could still select a different variant.
Perfect example of what I want to replicate would be here: https://www.bellhelmets.com/motorcycle/p/race-star-dlx-flex-street-motorcycle-helmet/250070000200000...
I can select a color, then all the images for that color load.
Currently I am using an app "Easy Variant Images" which allows me to display only the variant related images on the page. This is 'half way' I would say. I tried to follow the tutorial select variants by clicking their images although I don't know where to add code since Dawn 5.0 doesn't have theme.js or theme.js.liquid in the assets folder. Plus if I did get it to work, I'm not sure how I would make it so I could only see one specific thumbnail per variant.
Long story short- what sort of changes or code do I need to implement to make my website functional like the Bell link above? Is there a specific app that can do this (where I stop using my current app)?
Thank you for any help!
I have figured out the solution to my needs. Thank you.
Hey,
How did you figure this out? We need to replicate the same.
Thanks!
