How to Show Product Variants as Separate Products?

I want to display my product variants (like different colors or sizes) as separate products on my collection page (Checkout), instead of using a dropdown on the product page. I’ve seen some stores do this, but I’m not sure how to achieve it in Shopify.

Is there a way to do this without manually duplicating products? Can it be done using Liquid, metafields, or an app? I’m using the Dawn theme but open to general solutions. Any guidance or code suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This is possible, it just won't work well with pagination.

Another good alternative is Variator: Split Variants into Products, which is specifically built for this use case.

Both of these provide a no-code solution, ensuring your inventory stays synced while improving the shopping experience.
