Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello, I would like to ask if anyone knows how to solve this problem:
I have 1 product that has 3 different colors and I can split it into 3 parts (three products will be displayed), but when I click on the product, there will not be an option to select the other two colors which is bad. (Manually I know how to do it, but I won't do it because there are over 1000 products in total)
The other option I have is that I can put 3 colors in 1 product. (I don't like this because the customer will see for example the color red and he is looking for black so from a marketing point of view this is not good)
What I want: I want to do a combination of the two, and that is that I will have for example in the "Sneakers" section 3 identical products that will have a different color. If I click on the red shoes for example, there will be an option on the side to select another color that I have available.
I think it's called "How To Show Variants As Separate Products".
I'm using the latest version of Impulse. I don't want any app or other paid nonsense.
Has anyone solved the same problem and been able to solve it?
Thank you
Hi @Quezy,
Utilizing the Easify Product Options app, especially with its exclusive Option URL feature, could greatly enhance your product management. This feature allows you to maintain each color variant as a separate product while seamlessly linking relevant products together 🤗.
Here's how it works:
Given the substantial number of products in your inventory, you can use the {product_name} variables when adding URLs within the option set to apply cross-product linking in bulk. If you could share your store address, I can offer tailored recommendations on setting up. Alternatively, you can swiftly seek assistance from the Easify team through the in-app live chat.
Thanks for the tip, it looks good, but I already solved it with my code for Impulse theme.
Hi Quezy,
Could you share how you have solved this within the code?
And did you go for the option where you have 1 product with different variants or for the 3 separate products and a way to link them?
My preference would be the 1 product option with different variants with a way to show all colour variants on the collection page. But have not found the solution for this yet.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Base, I am also finding the Solution, have found any? @Quezy Can you share how you resolve this or the code?
Hello can you share the code?
