how to stop pop ups from my website when opening

When anyone opens my shop, popups come up that offer promotions like 10% off to input their email or 20% off to input their phone number. However, I don't remember putting these features up and they don't even work. I want to take them down. I have been trying to find the solution everywhere but I cant. Can someone please help. Thank you.

This is something you can edit in your theme. Navigate to Online Store -> Theme -> Customize 

Now look in the top left corner near the Header. You should see a field named “promotion” or something to that effect. You can click the “eyeball” icon to turn it off or the “trash” icon to delete the promotion. 

Save and exit.
