How to turn off cart drawer on my refresh theme

Hey, im using a cart app for upsell and customization when i add a product to the cart the drawer from the app is opening and this is good. but when i tap the close button on top right the cart drawer from refresh theme shows himself. so basically i wanna turn off the cart drawer from refresh theme himself. i just wanna use the cart app how can i do this?
