This is an accepted solution.

Step 1: Log in to Your Shopify Admin Dashboard

  1. Go to https://shopify.com and log in.

  2. You’ll likely see a screen that lists multiple stores under your account.

Step 2: Check Which Store is on the Basic Plan

To identify which store has the paid Basic Plan:

  1. Open one store by clicking its name.

  2. In the Admin Panel, go to
Settings → Plan (bottom left corner).

  3. Under Plan details, check:

    • If it says “Basic” – this is your paid store.

    • If it says “Free Trial” or no active plan – this is unpaid.

Repeat this for both stores to compare.

Step 3: Rename the Paid Store for Clarity (Optional)

To make it easier to recognize in the future:

  1. Go to Settings → Store details

  2. Edit the Store name to something like:
MyStore - Paid or your brand name.

Step 4: Delete or Cancel the Extra Store

To delete the store you're not using (unpaid):

  1. Open the unwanted store.

  2. Go to Settings → Plan.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click “Deactivate store”.

  4. Follow the prompts to close it.

Hey @SCJ25 ,

This happens when you've accidentally created two Shopify stores.

Here's how to identify and delete the unpaid store:

1. Log into both stores one by one.

2. Go to Settings > Plan in each.

3. The paid store will say “Basic Plan” or show your next billing date.

4. The unpaid store will say "Free trial" or have no active plan.

To delete the unpaid store:

- Go to Settings > Plan > Deactivate store.

- Follow the prompts to confirm

Let me know if you want help checking which is which!

Best Regards,

Rajat
