I have Dawn 6.0.2, why I am I not seeing that update is available?

I just went through manually transferring everything from v2 a month ago so I can get most recent updates without doing it all manually. So why I'm not seeing that there is an update available for the theme? 

I haven't modified any files, only stuff on pages in editor.

If you manually updated the theme to v2 and didn’t see any available updates for your theme, I suggest you download a new theme again from Shopify theme download.

You can get it by searching on google with this keyword: Shopify Dawn => Hit "Try theme" button and add it to your store.
