I want to add a 'Alternate Phone number' field to my checkout. I am using sense theme

Hello @david09 , in Shopify basic plan you don't have the option to optimize the Checkout page. It's only available for Shopify Plus merchants. 

However, you can add this via custom coding within the add to cart form while the customer is adding the product to the cart. There you can collection any additional information. Or you can customize the cart page and collect any additional information via custom coding.
