Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
My website www.fleshandbloodcards.com had images for all the products. I went away for a week on holiday, came back and around 20% of my products no longer have images. I exported products and noticed that the img src column is empty. I don't know how this could have happened since the website had been set to password mode (dunno anything better to set it to when I am holiday - i'd prefer to just remove the option for people to checkout so they could still browse the store but I dont know how, secondary help?), Can anyone tell me why this might have happened, if there is a clever way to get the images back and if there is anything I can do to sotp it happening again?

Actually, the images were moved to /deleted/files (instead of just /files) so I edited the image src file names in my upload csv to reflect this change and recovered my images that way.
The missing images from your products might be due to accidental deletion, a sync issue with third-party apps, or a Shopify bug. Unfortunately, if the img src column in your product export is empty, Shopify doesn’t retain backups of deleted images.
Steps to recover:
To prevent recurrence, regularly back up your product data, including images.
If you have other questions, I am willing to answer them more.
