Why do my images appear in different sizes on my Showcase theme?

I'm using the showcase theme. The photos are saved as 2048 x 2048 but, my images shop up as different sizes on the website. I used the media resize toll to make sure it's correct, and it is. What can I do to make all the images look the same size?
