Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi everyone,
I'm using an image banner for infographics on my site. However, I've noticed that the quality of the original banner image is significantly better than what appears on the website. I've tried increasing the image size and compressing the images, but nothing seems to improve the quality. The image quality on the website remains low when viewed from a computer, although it looks great on the mobile version ☹️
I am using the Sense theme
Here is the link to the target page: https://claws-paws.us/products/wireless-dog-gps-fence-system
Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! 💚
It sounds like Shopify might be compressing the images on the desktop version, which can cause quality loss.
Try uploading the image at double the required resolution (e.g., 2000px if you need 1000px) to maintain quality after compression.
Also, ensure the image format is .png for better clarity, especially for infographics. This should help improve the quality on desktop.
If this fixed your issue, likes and accepting as a solution are highly appreciated.

Thank you for your response! 💚
I tried uploading larger images and also modified the code to prevent Shopify from compressing them. However, none of this worked 😞
