Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Is there any way of improving the appearance of our search results?
I understand that an image only pulls through if it is loaded as 'feature image', however this is not available for pages. From the image below, the top three results are pages and the bottom two are blogs.
Is there a way of loading a branded 'backup' image or converting results into a list format in which the lack of image isn't so obvious? Also - why aren't the two rows lining up and is there a way of getting rid of the borders?
url is mypetfirst.co.nz
Thanks!
Hi @VetEntMarketing,
You want this:
Or do you want to add an alternate image to the page, so that the pages will also display the image?
Thanks for the reply. What you have shown above is the preferred solution, however this is only available for blog and product pages. I'd like the normal pages to present better (like this or with a placeholder image).
Hi @VetEntMarketing.
Yes, if you want to add an image to the page, you will need to create a Metafield for it.
Can you create a Metafield for the page and send me the name?
Never mind - I don't know how to do that.
Hi @VetEntMarketing,
You can also send me the collaborator code in private message, I will send you an invitation and add it
