Impulse theme show variants based on filters on collection page

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way for the variants to change on the collection page to reflect the filters that is/are selected. For example, let's say I were to select black color filter, can all of the products on the collection page with a black variant switch to show that black variant?

This app can show the matching variant image with the filter selection (by product option). It matches all Shopify themes and allows to add filter without no coding skills. I hope it can help.
