Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi all,
We are looking for a great layout for our "References" page. This page, is were we showcase our completed interior projects as an inspiration for others. The main page looks like this and we are somewhat okay happy with that.
https://ebbandflow.com/blogs/projects
However, through the menu, you can browse to explore our references with different categories e.g. bedroom, hotel, restaurants etc. You can see example below here:
https://ebbandflow.com/blogs/projects/tagged/hotels
This is not good. Poorly executed and old layout we intergrated from a previous shopify theme. We are now on Be Yours but looking to get inspiration how-to do a better layout for the different references. There is little text and a few images.
Any great ideas out there - someone want to share similar challanges and what you have done?
Are you like talking about the drop-down options on the blog page or the main blog details page??
I am taking about the blog post itself...like this
Okay. Firstly sorry on this but I am particularly not someone good with design or creativity, I am more into code.
I am sure you know this and you must have tried but you can take inspiration from other stores out there or on dribbble, showit, envato, pinterest, etc.
A bit of suggestions would be may be improve the spacings, make the font sizes a bit larger, adding may be a estimated time to read at the top, add tags as buttons beneath for that blog, etc.
The layout kind of is pretty much the same for blogs in every website no matter the niche it's just the content in there that makes the real difference.
Hope this helps in some way.
Best
