Is it possible to submit a theme for store approval that includes/hardcoded third party REST API url

I am developing a new Shopify theme based on Dawn theme that will be submitted to the store for approval. I have a question and it will be great if someone with theme submission experience can answer.

I want to develop a section or block in the new theme. That section or block will display dynamic data response from the third party REST API. The URL will be hardcoded and json response (data) will be displayed whatever the response or data comes from the third party API. Is it possible to submit a theme for store approval that includes third party api url?

My goal is to create a predefined theme that comes with an inbuilt block/section that displays the third part data for e.g. Top seller, etc, so merchant don't have to install any application or third party apps. If not, what are the alternatives? Thank you in advance.
