Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Is it possible to limit orders to a maximum of 20 different SKUs without using custom code? My supplier's API has a restriction of 20 SKUs per order. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
Hi @Basuch11596 this would be a combination of theme customizations, possibly shopify-functions(cart-validation apps?), and backend automations to edit/reject/notify about such orders.
Shopify-flow can simply notify about such orders, to auto-edit use a more advanced app like usemechanic https://tasks.mechanic.dev/demonstration-order-editing

Hi @Basuch11596,
What you need is an order splitter. Try this app, reach out to their support and verify that they can implement your rule (max 20 unique items per order)

Customer doesn’t really care about supplier restrictions so handle this on the backend. Possibly use an order notification app to let the customer know their order has been split into multiple orders.
